Bing Keeps Climbing Up Search Mountain

It appears all of the Bing ads have started to pay off. Slightly.

According to the latest Nielsen Search Rankings, Bing jumped from 9.9% market share in December, to 10.9% in Janruary 2010. A whole whopping 1%.

It’s not the 1% that’s special. Taking away searches from their largest competitor is what matters…with Google dropping down to 66.3%. My heart goes out to em.

In a way, I’m more surprised how much Ask has fallen off the map. It was just the other day they were rolling out a sleek advertising campaign. You can’t win em all.

This news comes at the same time Microsoft launches its new smart phone with the new Windows 7 Mobile OS. Not only does it offer a cleaner and smooth mobile experience, but Bing gets its own dedicated hardware button!

I guess Microsoft is serious about this whole search thing.
