Ego Makes Money!
When you encounter another successful individual, try hard to look past their ego and realize that . . . ego is a good thing.
I am writing this article because recently I had a business associate tell me that he could not work with my ego, and thus decided to move on. The truth is that he too had a large ego, and it was this trait that made me believe that he could make money online and become a successful internet entrepreneur.
Often times I find that ego is the most misunderstood personality trait that seems to be in every successful Internet entrepreneur. Some view ego as the desire to gain attention or perhaps to show off, but I challenge you to rethink how you perceive ego and how necessary it is for making money online. Those who have met Shoe Money, John Chow, or Zac Johnson would agree that each of those individuals believes that they can make money online better than anyone else (and they do) which is a good thing.
. . and they all have ego.
I always get a chuckle when I read a blog post or an article where one Internet marketing guru starts trash talking another Internet marketing guru. The truth is that you are seeing the raw elements of ego left unchecked and lashing out at what it does not understand . . . Usually it is ego lashing out at ego.
If you look at any successful individual such as a politician, business owner, or leader you will find that they are in the position they are in because they believe that they can do the job better than anyone else.
Our society has a habit of viewing ego as a negative personality trait but the truth is that without ego . . . true achievement and making money online is a difficult task. Making money online includes a lot of variables such as time spent, energy, passion, but we forget that to make money online you must have at minimum a tiny inner voice that says “you can do it better than anyone else!” and that my friend is ego. . .
I can write this better.
I think most people confuse ego with confidence, with is considered good trait. The fact is that ego is the manifestation of confidence. For those of us who recognize this in others, Donald Trump is a hero. For all the rest, he’s a jerk.
Of course you could . . . You have a huge Ego!
I agree, personally I like Donald Trump . . . i think at his core he has a decent guy, but no way i would want to be on the other side of the table competing with him.
