Hulu.com: Goodbye Daily Show and Colbert Report

I know this is old news, but for those of you paying attention, the video giant Hulu.com is no longer running re-runs of The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Being an avid viewer of both of these shows, it sort feels like a punch in the gut.

Honesty, since Hulu is owned by some of Viacom’s (the show’s creators) largest competition, I’m really not surprised by this announcement.

I still don’t care. My opinion shall be voiced.

I’ve come really close to sending the following e-mail:

Dear Hulu,

How can you do this to me? The times I am busy and can’t plant myself on the couch at 10 o’clock, I’m counting on you for my daily supplement of cynical and brain cell degenerating humor.

I know you don’t care because Viacom is the Great Media Bear of the North knocking on your door, and who argues with them? Excluding YouTube, of course.

Anyhow, I don’t need you anyway because each episode is upload on their respective sites.

P.S. If you take off the documentaries because the Supersize Me guy doens’t think he’s getting a fair deal…well, you should probably just change your name to…HuWhat?
