I Got 500 Followers And Twitter Is For Sale?
So here I am a total Twitter newbie and I just crossed 500 twitter followers. To celebrate, I think I am going to get the t-shirt which says “I am kind of a big deal . . . on Twitter”.
All this is fine and dandy, but what does it really mean? To be honest, I am not exactly sure . . . but I have set myself on a course to figure it out.
What I do know is this. It’s not me that’s a big deal, but it’s Twitter that’s a big deal.
With companies like Microsoft, Google, and of course Apple all expressing interest in buying Twitter you know they have to be doing something right.
So can we expect to see Twitter selling any time soon?
Not according to the 2 founders Biz Stone and Evan William. They were on “The View” yesterday and debunked any such rumors that Twitter was for sale.
Twitter is doing really well since it has the search capacity of millions of users interest, links, and chatter. This makes twitter a Mecca for those wishing to advertise to a particular demographic or niche group.
