Develop a Game Plan
Establishing a clear goal from the very start can help refine your focus. If your goal is to make money blogging, then you need a game plan before you ever start.
Your game plan might include a 1 year, 3 year, or 5 year phase and without a clear defined goal you will be spinning your wheels. Make bloggers say that their goal is to “make money blogging”, but that is not really a goal.
A goal is clear definable . . . It’s good to start with what you feel is going to be necessary to achieve your goal. So if increasing your sites traffic would lead to establishing a more profitable blog then a better goal might be “I want to increase traffic on my blog to 500 visitors / day.”
After you have established a measurable goal you will find that it’s much easier to stay focused.
Treat Your Blog As A Business
You will NEVER succeed without treating your blog as a business. Ultimately it will be impossible to every make money blogging without treating your blog as a business. Here is a few tips to help you do here . . .
Set hours that you can keep (decide that you are going to spend X hours / day blogging).
Decide what monetization methods you are going to establish (Ad Sales, Adsense, or Promoting Your Own products).
Set up at a simple business structure, such as an LLC or Sole Proprietorship . . . by doing this you can establish a bank account for your blog and run proper accounting.
Leverage Your Efforts
If you are un-able to write everyday you might want to look at hiring a writer. Don’t be afraid to outsource your SEO efforts. If design is not your strong point, then learn to ask for help.
You would be amazing at how many entrepreneurs who set out to make money blogging try to do it all themselves.
Remember that 1 can put a 1,000 to flight while 2 can put 10,000.
i believe that the best way of making money online is still monetizing your blog with Adsense or Adbrite. my income from blogging is still low but i am working hard to get more readers.
