What Does It Mean To Be A Blogger?
I know a few top notch bloggers. All of which are genuine people who know how to do 1 thing better than most everyone I know.
Bloggers know how to work! The good ones do anyway. . .
Think about it, the blogs you read are constantly filled with great information about the specific industry they represent. Fact is most bloggers do not make their full time living from blogging.
MetaFever.com is a prime example, I make my living as an SEO consultant, but I blog because I love the internet and the technology that is driving us into the future.
I admit, I got a late start in the game of blogging, but I have learned a bit about how to get it done.
Consider this we have already built MetaFever.com to a point where it receives what I would consider substantial traffic all from organic and grass root sources (500+ visitors / day), In fact as I write this post I just noticed we have our first month in the top 100k sites on the internet according to Alexa.com – MetaFever.com.
Here is a few things to keep in mind if your goal is to become a top blogger.
1) You probably won’t make a full time blogging. So start blogging only if you love or are passionate about the topic you are choosing to blog. I have a cousin who tried to start a blog and hire a Romanian to do the content updates. I knew in advance it would fail because he had $$ signs in his eyes. He was not passionate about the topic he choose to cover.
2) Make sure to proof read your post. Now I admit I am not the best at this, but I type all of my post in MS word and never even open up my WP admin until at least the spelling errors (according to MS Word) are fixed. Learn to walk away, then come back and re-read your work.
3) Provide readers will good information. I have chosen to bring on some of my friends to help write on MetaFever.com (like Joel), he’s a great guy that I have known for years. I also have a few other buddies I am talking to about coming aboard . . . why? Because I know that you (the reader) will be benefited in ways that are not easily quantified. Again . . . I cite reason #1, I love this industry. In Joel’s case he has a track record of being the real deal. Hence he’s welcomed here with open arms.

I just have started a blog.I read your article and found it very motivating for me.
Thanks
